Qualifications : Bsc ( Physiotherapy) , Master in Osteopathy in Neuromuscular disfunction
Achievements : Maria was born and raised in Italy where she completed her Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy in 2015 and her Masters in Osteopathy in Neuromuscular dysfunction in 2017.
Maria had been working in Italy for several years for an Oncology Hospital and for private rehabilitation clinics before exploring new opportunities abroad to work as a Physio in Europe and the UK. During this time, she had the opportunity to work for a FIFA rehabilitation center where she contributed to the rehabilitation of several professional athletes.
Due to her passion in outdoor sports and body movements, Maria loves treating any kind of musculoskeletal injuries and impairments with the aim to bring her patients back to activity in a safe and conscious way. Maria enjoys taking care of her patients by combining manual therapy with active exercises and breathing techniques with a big emphasis on future injury prevention through the achievement of mobility, strengthening, and body consciousness.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Maria running in the bush, camping, trying to catch waves and having pizza and good wine in front of a stunning sunset.
Maria is available for appointments Monday to Friday and also runs daily movement classes as well as hydrotherapy sessions.
