Mat classes utilise the body weight for exercises, Pilates mat work includes a series of exercises to work the inner and outer thighs, as well as a series to strengthen the back, hamstrings, and glutes. Many classes end with a stretching series.

Mat Pilates classes are a great option for those new to a Pilates practice. Classes run weekly, are 55 minutes and are $20 a class prior to private health rebates.
